Hello Everyone,
The first episode of the TCC is finally posted, featuring Oceans Blooming and Justine de Saint Mars, discussing her background, music, and thoughts on theory/composition. It is also exciting that our podcast is now available on multiple platforms. In total, it is on this website, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and YouTube. You can also now count-on having full-episode transcripts uploaded to the episode page on the host website, although it will be hours after the initial upload. This is because, although the transcript is auto-generated by our host website, it usually requires heavy punctuation corrections so it takes some time to go through it.
I really appreciate Justine and the early adopters of the podcast, this has certainly been a wild journey already. It is strange to think that within 2 weeks this all went from a concept to there being an established network with a fully produced episode. Not that I thought this would be easy but like, wow. This is much harder than I thought it would be, at least on the managerial side of things. Regardless this is all very exciting.
I cannot wait to share with all of you the next episode, featuring Ky Nam Nguyen's A Vietnamese Mother's Letter to Nixon. The piece really is a great time; harrowing, inspiring, and thoughtful in a numerous number of ways. The interview was fascinating and it will be, as long as I do my job correctly, a great listen. Ky Nam's piece and the story it tells is quite gripping and you definitely will not want to miss it.
I am shooting for this next episode to be uploaded early on Monday or Tuesday morning. The gap between episodes will not usually be this short, however, as I want to have a consistent release date on Mondays with the weekly blog post being sometime later in the week. In the case of the first episode, however, I just wanted to get it out as soon as I could. I can also say that the next guests lined up include Will Davenport and Gabe Gekoskie.
